Straight from One Flew South's Eddie Bush:
If you’re thinking it’s a bit too early to be thinking about Christmas, a lot of people would agree with you. It is, after all, just October. But in the music world, ‘tis the season, and now is when everyone is releasing their Christmas albums.
I have a new Christmas single called “I C Christmas”. It’s my first Christmas recording and I love it! It hasn’t officially been released yet, and I’m working on the music video right now, but I wanted to give everyone a sneak preview of the song!

Johnny Cash Radio Launches
Johnny Cash fans around the world can now tune in to Johnny Cash Radio, a new venture launched by Bill Miller who, along with the late Johnny Cash, founded the official Johnny Cash website 14 years ago.
The station, http://www.johnnycashradio.com/, streams Johnny Cash music and content 24 hours a day, seven days a week. "Johnny Cash Radio is a dream come true for Johnny's millions of fans around the globe. We are the source for all things Cash, and our lineup includes programming hosted by Johnny's own family members, friends, former band members and others in the music industry," said Miller.
Among the family members who host their own shows is the wife of John Carter Cash (Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash's only son), Laura Cash, and Johnny's youngest sister, Joanne Cash Yates. The programs range from DJ-style shows to documentaries featuring interviews with Cash friends and associates to rare vintage performances by the Man in Black spanning his five decades strong career.
Miller and his wife Shannon host the weekly webcast, The Johnny Cash Radio Show, which features guests such as Kris Kristofferson, Graham Nash, Merle Haggard, Rosanne Cash, Jane Seymour, Charlie Daniels, The Oak Ridge Boys and friends, family members and associates who knew Cash.
"There are few other entertainers whose body of work could sustain a 24 hour, seven days a week radio stream. With Johnny Cash's five decades of writing and recording, our station is always fresh and relevant," Miller said.

Numerous Canadian Country Artists Combine Efforts On New Song Benefitting Country's Military
It started as a dream three years ago for Vernon, B.C.-based entrepreneur Barry Stecyk, who wanted to honour Canada's soldiers through song.
Over the last three months, that dream took shape at the hands of Vancouver Province deputy editor Fabian Dawson, EMI Music Canada, Country Music TV and an array of Canadian artists, songwriters, producers and engineers.
Beginning this week, the dream, which has been turned into the much anticipated song — "Standing Strong and True (for Tomorrow)" — Canada's biggest musical tribute to its military — will hit the radio airwaves from coast to coast.
The single will be available for purchase digitally via iTunes on Oct. 26 and the music video, produced by Fahrenheit Films, will be available for purchase digitally on Nov. 2 via all Postmedia newspaper websites across the country.
Proceeds will go to two special funds: the Military Families Fund and Boomer's Legacy. The Military Families Fund directly assists military families by providing immediate support in their time of need. Boomer's Legacy is a charitable foundation to raise money for Afghans living in the valleys and villages where Canadian troops operate.
"Thanks to the work of Barry Stecyk and Fabian Dawson and the donation that will be made to the Military Families Fund, Canada's soldiers, sailors, airmen and airwomen and their families will be better able to receive additional support above and beyond our regular support programs, if a special situation or need arises," said General Walt Natynczyk, chief of the Canadian forces.
"Standing Strong and True (for Tomorrow)" was produced and engineered by Kevin Churko (Shania Twain, Celine Dion) and Tom McKillip (Lisa Brokop, Aaron Pritchett) and features a long list of Canadian country artists, including Aaron Pritchett, AL Woodworth, Beverley Mahood, Michelle Wright, Terri Clark, One More Girl and many others.
"Our Canadian troops have always been there to aid those in need," said country-music star Terri Clark, adding, "I am so proud to get to be a part of something to honour all the Canadian troops and their families."

CD Reviews- Toby Keith- Bullets In The Gun
The Background
Toby Keith produced this brand new album, joined by Mills Logan and Kenny Greenberg for the live session. He also wrote or co-wrote all 10 new songs, six with Bobby Pinson, one with Scotty Emerick and Dean Dillon and the title track with Rivers Rutherford. Toby also wrote two songs by himself, including the lead single "Trailerhood," which is moving quickly to the top of the charts. As his recent singles and new album attest, Toby Keith may be the longest-tenured self-contained hit machine in country music history. He wrote his first single and No. 1 smash "Should've Been A Cowboy
" in 1993 and has been the central creative force behind the vast majority of his biggest hits since.
The Review
Toby Keith has proven time and time again that he has a genuine gift for writing America-loving, slogan-filled, blue-collar scenarios full of imagery that are ready-made for music videos and concert anthems. Bullets In The Gun
strays just a bit and finds him leaving some of his brash persona behind him and delivering some slightly more mellow song topics.
The album opens up with the title track- an auditory movie set to music as well as a terrific historic ode to Marty Robbins and tales of the old west. It’s a modern-day “El Paso” complete with tragic ending- a new and refreshing angle in song taken by Keith. He delivers the lyrics with great storytelling gusto. The on-the-run outlaw couple are reminiscent of Robert Earl Keen's great "The Road Goes On Forever."
“Trailerhood,” paints a scene of guys with beer guts and poker-playing old coots living in a mobile-home park- reducing the song’s protagonist to the lowest population denominator. Even before the video every came out, you could picture Keith sitting in a kiddie pool. “Kissin' in the Rain” is equally cinematic.
Everything else in between is solid, if not spectacular typical Keith fare. The album, however, concludes with the awkwardly icky “Get Out of My Car.” Keith tries to be cute with getting lucky in today’s dating scene, but only ends up deliverying a disenlightened male chauvinistic tune.
Spring for the album’s deluxe edition, which includes more than competent concert recordings of tunes by Roger Miller, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Paycheck, and Gordon Lightfoot.
There’s no political statements or American flag-wraps on this album, it’s simply a continuing maturing artist that recognizes that his career will be remembered for his collection of work instead of the statements he’s made along the way
Sounds LikeA bit like Eddie Montgomery in voice and song choice
Track Highlights (Suggested iPod adds):Bullets In The Gun
Think About You All of the Time
Chug-A-Lug
Sundown
The Verdict:Three Stars Out Of Five
