A native of Mexico, Manuel Cuevas has outfitted presidents, movie stars, rock legends, and scores of country artists during his career of more than fifty years. As protégé to Nudie Cohn, the Rodeo Tailor, Manuel Cuevas designed many of the colorful stage costumes that bear Nudie’s label. In 1989, Manuel Cuevas relocated from Hollywood to Nashville, where he continues to fashion distinctive western clothing inspired by the personalities of his clients.
Artists featured in Country Couture include Kix Brooks, Little Jimmy Dickens, the Hager Twins, Merle Haggard, Jim Lauderdale, Loretta Lynn, Ronnie Milsap, Lorrie Morgan, the Oak Ridge Boys, Pam Tillis, Tanya Tucker, Porter Wagoner and Dwight Yoakam.
