The Clark Brothers are a trio composed of three brothers with the surname Clark: Adam (guitar, mandolin), Ashley (lead vocals, fiddle, mandolin, guitar), and Austin (background vocals, resonator guitar). All three brothers, along with their three other brothers Aaron, Andrew, and Alan, originally comprised a sextet called The Clark Family Experience, which recorded one album for Curb Records in 2002 and charted four singles on the Billboard country charts- the biggest being the smash single "Meanwhile Back At The Ranch."In 2007, The Clark Brothers participated in the Fox Networks talent competition The Next Great American Band, which they won. A year later, they signed to Universal South Records and are represented by 19 Entertainment- the company behind American Idol.
After working nearly a year and writing over 150 songs, they are nearing the completion of their first project as the Clark Brothers. From their MySpace page: "We know it’s been awhile but we’ve been working hard on writing and recording for our album.We’ve uploaded some new “behind-the-scenes” pictures so check them out on the Slideshow on our MySpace profile. 2009 promises to be an exciting year so keep checking back for updates on our debut album."

I was completely blown away by the Clark Brothers on The Next Great American Band and I've been waiting and waiting to hear about an album release! I hope it comes out soon...every once in a while I'll be in the mood for some good southern rock tunes and these guys come to mind. Can't wait!
