New Johnny Cash Documentary Film To Premiere At Nashville Film Fest

Entitled Out Of Darkness Comes Light- Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison is set to premiere at the Nashville Film Fest later this month. The documentary is Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, and it’s about Cash’s 1968 concert at California’s Folsom State Prison.

The filmmakers will be in Nashville for the screenings, at 5 p.m. April 19 and 3:30 p.m. April 20.

There’s plenty of footage from the actual show, but filmmakers also went back in for more current day footage. There also are bunches of interviews with folks were who there, including several inmates.
