Country music stars Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry know a lot about partnering to make some good sounds, and now they are joining with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® and the Wounded Warrior Project on their newest CD, For Our Heroes. This 12-song CD features familiar hits like “Something To Be Proud Of,” and “My Town.” It also includes an exclusive new song, “One Of Those Days,” as well as four songs that have received only limited release previously. The CD will be available only at Cracker Barrel, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each CD will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors.
“Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry are great artists to work with on this exclusive CD project,” says Cracker Barrel’s Vice President of Marketing Peter Keiser. “They have for a long time demonstrated their support of and appreciation for our country’s service people. That concern is aligned with Cracker Barrel’s multi-year support of the Wounded Warrior Project.” Keiser added that this CD recognizes that many of the popular restaurant concept’s guests are Montgomery Gentry fans who will be excited about this opportunity to enjoy this exclusive music project while supporting the efforts of the Wounded Warrior Project.
Eddie and Troy say they were pleased to work on this CD with Cracker Barrel because “we think it’s important to support the soldiers, the men and women who fight for us every day so that we can live in the freedom of this great country, the United States of America.”
For Our Heroes will go on sale at all Cracker Barrel locations on May 25th, but you can pre-order your copy, starting May 18th, at crackerbarrel.com. And from May 18th through May 31st, Cracker Barrel will double the donation to Wounded Warrior Project for every CD that is sold. T-shirts featuring the Wounded Warrior Project’s logo of a soldier carrying a wounded compatriot will also be on sale at all Cracker Barrel locations beginning May 25th. A portion of these sales will also be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, helping them to ensure this generation of wounded is the most successful and well-adjusted in our nation’s history.
