Up & Coming New Nashville- Gary Ray & The Heartwells

Gary Ray & the Heartwells have consistently toured the Southeast playing over 250 dates a year. The band has played with Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Miranda Lambert, Lifehouse, Blues Traveler, Corey Smith, Cowboy Mouth, and Sister Hazel.

After their invitation to play Nashville’s “Blue Bird CafĂ©” for CMA Fest in 2009, the band graduated from the bar scene, to playing larger Dance Halls. Gary Ray & the Heartwells have headlined “The Country Club” in Augusta, GA on Master’s Weekend, rocked “Renegades” in West Palm Beach, and returned home to Atlanta to play the World Famous, “Wild Bill’s”. The band also headlined outdoor spring events throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

Currently the band’s debut release, “Livin’ The Dream” is in Top 100 on Reverbnation.com’s National Chart and ranks 3rd on their Georgia Chart.

Throughout the album, their music reflects life on the road for a touring band, and how “life happens” along the way. The first single, “Ride That Thang (Quit Buckin’ Around)” is an anthem for fans of live music, hot girls, and good times. “Hell Yes I Do” is a country love song about proposals and keeping the love alive after many years. On “Soldier’s Eyes” the band rocks hard, celebrating the brave young lives of our American soldiers and remembering the families of those who will not return home. Anyone who’s ever sung along with the windows down and the car radio up, will enjoy “Good Song”. “Livin’ The Dream” takes you back to your carefree teens and reminds us of how we all grow up eventually.
