Hank Jr.'s Daughter Hilary Williams Releases New Book On November 1

Hilary Williams' Sign of Life: A Story of Family, Tragedy, Music, and Healing, written with M.B. Roberts, is out Nov. 1 via Da Capo Press.

In March of 2006, the aspiring singer and songwriter survived a horrific car wreck, where, after her heart stopped briefly, she was revived on the scene. This is the story of her inspirational recovery, which is nearly complete following twenty-three surgeries and painful therapy. Sign of Life is also the story of what it’s like to be the daughter of Hank Williams Jr. and the granddaughter of Hank Williams and what it means to live with the legend, the talent, and the curse of country music’s most famous family.

Father Bocephus offers the book's foreword, writing of Hilary as "the strongest person I've ever known."

"People think her Daddy is tough?" he writes. "No, nothing like my daughter."
