Recent Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Ferlin Husky has been hospitalized at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN and is reported to be in critical condition but improving.
The singer was put into the critical care cardiac unit over the weekend when he began have trouble breathing. Husky has chronic pulmonary disease along with heart problems and has been hospitalized in the past. According to his daughter, he has shown some improvement and may leave the ICU soon.
Husky, 85, had a string of 41 top forty country records between 1953 and 1975 including crossover hits Gone (1957/#1 Country/#4 Pop) and Wings of a Dove (1961/#1 Country/#12 Pop)
