Vince Gill Teams Up With John Hiatt On New Album From Blues Guitar Legend Joe Bonamassa

Blues guitarst Joe Bonamassa releases Dust Bowl, his 12th solo release, this week and shows no signs of slowing down after the success last year of the widely acclaimed Black Rock. Dust Bowl adds a dash of Nashville to the guitarist's fiery electric blues-rock with the help of John Hiatt and Vince Gill. They team up in the foot-stomping country romp "Tennessee Plates"- written by Hiatt- and Gill later returns in the keyboard-laced "Sweet Rowena," a song he co-wrote.

Says Bonamassa, "...I can’t compete with some of the guest stars who grace the album, legends like Vince Gill and John Hiatt. I was thrilled that they even knew who I was, let alone that they’d want to do duets with me. Man, those guys are smokin’!"
