Unfortunately, after releasing one of the better mainstream country music singles with "Comin' Around" earlier this year, singer/songwriter Josh Thompson and RCA Nashville parted ways this week. Thompson was signed to sister label Columbia Nashville, but was moved to the RCA branch of Sony Music Nashville after the label underwent some restructuring earlier this year.
Thompson released his first album, Way Out Here on Columbia, which included hit singles, “Beer On The Table” and “Won’t Be Lonely Long.” Last month, he revealed that he recently completed a sophomore album and hoped it would be released later this year.
