Miranda Lambert, Kip Moore and Marty Stuart All Announce Upcoming Album Launches

Who: Miranda Lambert
What: Platinum
When: June 3
Why: "From the day you kinda' go I need to start looking for songs and writing songs, it feels like no matter how much time you have, you're rushed," Lambert noted in an official statement. "And so I didn't want to rush it at all. To me it's all about timing and making sure that you can feel like you can finally sit there and go, OK, the album's done, and never have a moment where you go, I wish we could change that or I wish we had a different song."

Who: Kip Moore
What: Smoke
When: April 29
Why: "It's a very, very intense record. I feel like the first one, once you got past 'Somethin' 'Bout a Truck' and 'Beer Money,' there was a lot of nostalgia and reminiscing. It was kinda moody and ambient. This one is intense. There's more gritty guitar tones. It speaks more to the present, where the last one was more of a looking-back record. I feel like I cover better topics than I did on the first one, too. It's not going to be for everybody, but I think the fans of what we've been doing are gonna love it."

Who: Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives
What: The Gospel Songs of Marty Stuart
When: April 15
Why: Five-time GRAMMY winner and platinum recording artist Marty Stuart lends his warm, familiar sound to some of his favorite Gospel classics on The Gospel Music of Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives. This Grand Ole Opry star, musician, songwriter and TV show host, known for his charismatic performances and personality, has spent over four decades celebrating American roots music, and his talents shine on this gospel album, part of the Gaither Gospel Series. Along with his backing band, The Fabulous Superlatives, Stuart brings to life Gospel songs that have been mainstays of his since childhood, many of which have been featured on his weekly TV show, The Marty Stuart Show.
