Sarah Darling Releases PledgeMusic Campaign For Brand New Album

Sarah Darling released plans for a brand new album this week and has gone to fans to help with the costs of production and promotion with a crowd-funding effort through PledgeMusic.

From her participation as a contestant in the new ABC hit show Rising Star, the launch of her new line of boots with partner... Durango, to the success of her French macaron company, “Sweet Darling Patisserie” Sarah Darling is a very busy young woman.  Called “a sophisticated songwriter with a crisp, powerful voice” by The New York Times, Darling pairs her uncanny knack for songwriting with her passion for performing on stage. Sarah is currently preparing to go back in the studio to record a new album. Her January 2013 EP, Home to Me, is available on iTunes and in stores nationwide, and was released after her 2 previous #1 Videos, the 2011 critically acclaimed music video for “Something to Do with Your Hands” and her cover of the Beatles timeless classic “Blackbird”. Darling has also earned national media recognition for her music, performing on CONAN, FOX & Friends, CNN, ABC's The Bachelor, GAC, CMT, AXS-TV and more. The single, “Little Umbrellas," generated momentum for Darling last summer, making it into the top 10 on SiriusXM’s The Highway. Fans can catch her out on the road performing this summer opening for the likes of Band Perry, Hunter Hayes, Luke Bryan and Gloriana, as well as her regular appearances on the historic Grand Ole Opry stage, which she has appeared on over 50 times since her debut in 2011.
