Fresh off her GRAMMY win for writing Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" and her number one with Tim McGraw's "Humble and Kind," Lori McKenna is back with her own material with the Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Mary Chapin Carpenter) produced The Bird & The Rifle.
The Stoughton, Massachusetts native on working with Cobb, "when I went in to meet him and he reminded me of one of my brothers," McKenna says with a laugh. "Did you ever meet somebody that you don't know at all and they feel like they could be in your family? That's how I instantly felt with him."
