Artist: Chris Young
Album: Losing Sleep
Label: RCA Nashville
Release date: October 20, 2017
Chris Young just released the details of his next studio album. Losing Sleep will be his sixth album, and it drops this fall on October 20.
Yesterday, during his Facebook Live announcement, Young shared the cover art of the album, teasing that he can’t show fans the back just yet because it contains the track listing he isn’t ready to reveal. What he did give away, however, is that this will be the first offering of his career where he is a co-writer on every single track.
Young offered up a few more details saying that the project is “kind of that progression for me as an artist,” he says, meaning that there will be “stuff that’s more traditional” and “some stuff that’s more in between” traditional and Young’s current single, the album’s more-progressive title track. “Honestly,” Young adds, “it’s just music that I love.”
During the announcement, Young shared an additional song on the project in addition to his current single and title song called “Where I Go When I Drink.”
