- For the better part of a decade, I have been privileged to be included in an illustrious group of music critics whom I admire more than they know- and contribute to Nashville Scene's Music Critic's Poll. The 18th annual issue came out this week and as it has done in previous years, highlighted the truly great in country music more so than any awards show. - Former One Flew South member and solo singer/songwriter Chris Roberts has released a brand new bluegrass song to roots-radio. It's an old Roger Miller tune titled "Boeing Boeing 707" and you can hear it here.
- Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake have a new collaborative music video for "Say Something."
- Michael Peterson has recorded his and some of his heroes biggest hits and will release a new album on January 31, 2017.
- Brothers Osborne will have their new album Port Saint Joe drop on 4/20/18.
- Shenandoah will have a new album called Reloaded drop on 3/16/18.
- Mary Chapin Carpenter will drop a new album called Sometimes Just The Sky on 3/30/18.
