Nearly nine years after his last new album release, Clay Walker will be releasing a brand new project full of new music on January 21 with Long Live The Cowboy. The project has been long-rumored to be finished as far back as 2013 and Walker was quoted on the project back in 2015 saying, "It’ll never be the same; we will never go back to the way it was in the ’80s or the ’90s or anything like that. Which is good. This change in the music has definitely helped country music grow. I think I’ve been able to make an album of music that falls right where it should be.”
