"She Colors My Day" is a fun, up-tempo pop song celebrating the love between moms and daughters. "Unafraid," co-written by Amy Grant and long time collaborator Wayne Kirkpatrick, is a poignant and timeless tribute to motherhood from all angles, including a touching verse about Amy's own mother. In honor of moms across the world, Amy is partnering with the songwriters of "She Colors My Day" and the skin care company, philosophy, to donate all royalties from the downloads of "She Colors My Day" to the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund.
WHY EIF? Because the song was inspired by a brave mom named Annette Tauber who was dying of breast cancer and leaving behind 4 precious daughters. Her good friend and philosophy founder, Cristina Carlino, wrote "She Colors My Day" in her memory and is hoping that the money raised for the Women's Cancer Research Fund will prove to be a lasting legacy of Annette's love for her daughters.
