Album: Interstate Gospel (educated guess)
Release date: Projected 11/2/18
While we know Pistol Annies have finished a new record that's supposed to be out sometime this fall, we don't know exactly when it will be released or exactly what it will be called. But Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley have been dropping some hints and I think That Nashville Sound has put together all their clues here below.
You can now follow a new Pistol Annies playlist titled Interstate Gospel on both Spotify and Apple Music. The 45-song collection includes songs from the trio's two previous albums -- 2011's Hell on Heels and 2013's Annie Up -- as well as solo tracks from each of the women. The ladies have also embarked on a retro postcard campaign in which they've mailed out postcards with supposed album tracks on it to fans across the country with the hopes that they'd post them on social media.
A social media about the postcards reads, "The best way to describe this record is that three women came unleashed and told a bunch of truth. We didn't hold back and we're proud of it. There are 13/14 songs and they're our stories... our friends stories and your stories."
Also on those postcards is a code of 112. Music sleuths are believing that number to be the release date of the new project as well.
That process has produced the following as a likely track listing as well:
Stop Drop & Roll One
Best Years Of My Life
5 Acres Of Turnips
When I Was His Wife
Got My Name Changed Back
This Too Shall Pass
